Yesterday, Friday May 29, a group of car enthusiasts at Volvo Car HQ in Gothenburg Sweden, took our annual hobby car trip. We drove the small rods to the south where you can find several small car enthusiast shops and the Koenigsegg factory. We where about 30 Cars and the majority were Lotus, Porsche and Corvettes among others and then my Capp. Huge interest of the Cappuccino by all (as usual), especially Power Train folks as down sizing is the No.1 thing in the car industry. When you open the hood for them, the reaction is: “like a real engine bay but all downscaled, looks more like model car”. We had a stop at the Koenigsegg factory and got a tour in the production, very interesting. UK seems to be a big market for this brad, the pricing is between 1,5 to over 2 M£ for the ONE! The trip went further south west to Caresto (www.caresto.se). This small company can build what ever you want with wheels and engines, check their website. All in all I drove 300 miles (47.8mpg) and still driving in Slow coverage (Adaptronic EMS), I’m impressed that the std turbo deliver seamless acceleration from start to above 8000 rpm!
Now I look forward to the summer heat and lots of topless days in my Capp!
