One of those settings I have been meaning to try so I set it up on the weekend. Mine is set for a 4,500RPM rev limit fuel cut below 5 KPH and using the MVSS.
Dont forget to set the MVSS as the speed sensor as the default is the SVSS setting or youll look like a right idiot like me trying to drive off through the gears hitting the rev limiter. (First setting was a 3,000 cut also)
Makes a huge difference off the line as we all know cappo's were never that quick on the take off, but mine is now.
Mental Note: Must put the new exedy clutch in, after about 2 take offs the standard one hates it. |

I tried this once but got no joy from it, i assumed because i had no wheel sensor. So there's a way to set it using another sensor already on the car? |

Yep there is. The default is for a secondary speed sensor (SVSS) which would be a wheel sensor as you stated above but you can check a box to use the master vehicle speed sensor (MVSS). |

Intresting. Will have to look into it more. I pressume it gives the option of cutting revs either by cutting spark or fuel delivery or both? |

Yes it gives both fuel and ignition cut options, I chose to cut fuel only. |

Installed a switch on the dash this weekend to be able to turn the Launch Control on when you want to. Put it just below the 4 stage boost controller just near the gear stick in the old ash tray area, so its easy to hit when you want. Makes it easier now so that you can idle and rev normally or hit the Launch control when you want to. Not hard at all, just used one of the Adaptronics digital inputs to select it when required. |

Do you have any pics and/or a video of this working on your car? |

OK here goes, a short video if it loads just showing normal revs and when the Launch Control is activated. It opens with quicktime or iTunes I think. |

Pretty much correct.
You have 2 adustments for Launch Control being the RPM you want to be consistent while stationary and the vehicle speed that you want the normal rev limiter to cut in at, which in my case I have set at 5KPH.
There are a few other settings like what sort of cut you want like fuel, ingnition or both which I am still mucking about with but I think the fuel cut is probably the best option. |
